finance manager in security and compliance

• Take ownership of key accounting processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, monthly accruals, fixed asset management, and payment runs;
• Own month-end and year-end closing activities and deliver compliant financial reporting aligned with HGB requirements;
• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements under HGB;
• Act as a key contact during internal and external audits;
• Challenge existing workflows and drive improvements and automation with Finance and DataOps;
• Own project-based financial initiatives and operational improvements with the Director of Financial Controlling.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Certified training as Bilanzbuchhalter;
• Excellent knowledge of HGB and German tax regulations;
• 3+ Years of experience in financial accounting with end-to-end closing responsibility;
• 1+ Year of experience in a high-growth tech or SaaS company;
• Detail-oriented, structured, and reliable;
• Proactive, adaptable, and ownership-driven mindset;
• Ability to thrive in changing environments and deliver projects from start to finish;
• Excellent German skills;
• Clear and confident communication in English;
• Strong proficiency in DATEV, Chargebee, and Excel;
• Modern, tech-driven mindset and solid AI literacy;
• Nice to have: Experience with Yokoy/Perk, Xero, Salesforce, or Adyen.
