finance manager in SaaS

A growing, profitable international SaaS business provides technology-driven software products and is expanding its finance function to support continued growth.

• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely delivery of management accounts;
• Prepare consolidated reporting across multiple international entities;
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and maintain a strong financial control environment;
• Manage relationships with external overseas accountants and external advisors;
• Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis;
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting enhancements;
• Support statutory compliance, audits and governance activities;
• Mentor junior members of the finance team.

• Hold a fully qualified accountant qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA;
• Have previous experience working within a SaaS business;
• Have advanced Excel and financial modelling skills;
• Have proven experience owning month-end close and management reporting processes;
• Have experience producing consolidated accounts within a multi-entity environment;
• Have a strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and audit requirements;
• Ability to work independently and take ownership within a remote-first business;
• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and technology;
• Nice to have: exposure to international entities and multi-currency reporting, experience with subscription revenue models, deferred revenue, ARR and MRR reporting, knowledge of Xero or similar cloud-based finance systems, experience improving finance processes through automation and technology.
