finance manager in plant-based food technology

Project Eaden develops plant-based meat with authentic texture and taste using patented Fiber-Spinning technology. Its LEKKA products are already available in millions of households across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

• Support the team with month-end closing and maintain relationships with external accounting and tax partners;
• Submit all required financial data and documents accurately and on time;
• Process invoices, manage payments, and reconcile transactions;
• Ensure timely and correct transaction entry in company systems;
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in SAP, Finway, and DATEV;
• Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly;
• Document all financial transactions properly;
• Support the preparation of audit documents and cooperate with external tax advisors on compliance matters;
• Process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions;
• Ensure policy compliance and proper documentation;
• Provide data and analyses for monthly management reporting and financial planning.

• 2–4 Years of experience in accounting;
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting;
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a comparable field;
• Confident use of accounting software and ERP systems;
• Good Excel and Google Sheets skills;
• Solid understanding of HGB, double-entry bookkeeping, and German accounting standards;
• Accuracy, organization, and reliability;
• Clear communication skills for working with team members, external advisors, and suppliers;
• Fluent German is required;
• Good written and spoken English;
• Nice to have: experience in manufacturing, the food industry, fast-growing companies, SAP, DATEV, or production accounting.

• 20–25 Hours per week with flexible scheduling;
