Finance manager in FMCG

From our Berlin oat headquarters, we coordinate activities for the DACH region and Poland. We want to inspire more people to eat in a planet-friendly way, with a wink and without cows. As Finance Manager, you will join our small but experienced Finance Department.

• You are responsible for the numbers for your business units: prepare monthly closings, build reports and provide concrete recommendations for action.
• You check our customer terms, document them carefully and work closely with HQ.
• You assess business cases and pricing strategies for new products and ideas, and work with the Key Account Management team to identify customer potential.
• You are our point of contact for financial transparency and assessing measures.
• You analyse revenue, margin and price developments at customer and product level and identify relevant levers for management.
• You are responsible for preparing the Latest Estimates and budgets.
• You manage the forecast and budget processes for the sales area, critically question existing assumptions and identify risks and opportunities in revenue development.
• You can easily adjust your altitude: one moment you are preparing individual product calculations, and the next you are discussing the strategic development of the portfolio.
• You connect detailed analyses, such as product calculations, with strategic questions around portfolio, growth and profitability, and derive appropriate measures.
• You make sure our cost centres make sense and the invoices are correct.
• You stay in contact with accounting, sales and customers—and never lose track of payment status.
• You are the point of contact for our tax advisory firms and coordinate topics with your lead, HQ and the DACH organisation.
• You manage things like car leasing, Travel & Expenses—or bring your own ideas to life.
• You pitch in when something new comes up: reporting, processes, tenders—whatever comes along.
• You will support many projects that have not even taken shape yet—from tendering services to creating new reports.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Financial Planning.
• You have experience in project management.
• You are highly proficient in Excel and also have experience using Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
• You keep track of complex topics and many parallel processes, and demonstrate flexibility when things do not always go to plan.
• You know how to present complex financial relationships in a way that suits the audience and derive clear recommendations for action for different stakeholders.
• Your glass is always half full, and you are solution-oriented, assertive and persistent.
• You are a team player, have your heart in the right place and are highly motivated to make the world a little better.
• You communicate fluently in German and confidently in English.
