The role oversees payroll financial planning, budgeting, tax management, and payroll execution across inVision companies, helping keep payroll costs transparent, compliant, and controlled as the organization grows.

• Build payroll budgeting processes across all inVision companies
• Create and maintain an automated payroll financial model in Google Sheets
• Prepare payroll budgets, update them using HR data, and submit them for approval
• Calculate position costs, including gross salaries, employer taxes and contributions, annual bonuses, and currency; check positions against payroll limits
• Maintain tax conditions across key jurisdictions with local advisors, including rates, caps, thresholds, and payment deadlines
• Calculate employer and employee tax burdens for budgets and position costing
• Monitor tax legislation changes, assess their impact, and update the financial model
• Plan payroll tax and social contribution payments according to deadlines
• Analyze payroll tax risks
• Update the financial model with HR changes and check new positions and changes against budgets and limits
• Calculate Kazakhstan salaries, taxes, and contributions based on HR documents and events, including hiring, terminations, vacations, sick leave, and timesheets
• Calculate payments to other individuals in Kazakhstan, including civil-law contracts and student payments
• Calculate and pay taxes and contributions for employees and individuals in Kazakhstan
• Prepare and submit Kazakhstan tax and contribution reports; review and control reports in other jurisdictions with local advisors
• Prepare payment registers and organize salary payments
• Prepare accounting entries and reconcile payroll with the general ledger monthly
• Calculate final termination settlements using HR data
• Calculate the budget impact of HR-approved compensation changes and assess requests exceeding department limits for CFO and Director review
• Calculate bonus pools, book accruals, and process bonus payments using HR data
• Reallocate payroll limits between departments and legal entities within the approved budget
• Run plan-versus-actual analysis and rolling payroll forecasts
• Prepare management analysis and payroll reports for leadership
• Develop and maintain policies and control procedures for the financial part of payroll
• Work with HR, accounting, banks, external payroll providers, and auditors on financial payroll matters
• Contribute to payroll automation and ERP system development

• Degree in Economics or Finance
• At least 4–5 years of experience in payroll, tax and contribution calculations and/or payroll budget planning
• Experience coordinating external payroll providers and cross-functional processes across HR, accounting, and finance
• Strong knowledge of labor and tax legislation related to payroll, taxes, and social contributions; Kazakhstan expertise is required
• Experience building financial models and budgets
• Experience with the full Kazakhstan payroll cycle, including calculations, social fund reporting, payments, accounting entries, and reconciliation
• Experience with payroll, HR, and accounting/ERP systems such as 1C:ZUP, and master data management
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, models, and formulas, plus financial analysis skills
• English at C1 level or higher
• Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work error-free with large volumes of calculations and personal data
• Confidentiality, ethics, and strict handling of employee compensation information
• Analytical thinking and ability to explain variances and turn numbers into insights for leadership
• Constructive cross-functional communication with HR, department heads, and the CFO; ability to defend budget limits with clear arguments
• Ownership, adherence to payroll calendars and tax reporting deadlines, flexibility, and adaptability to changing priorities
