Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Analyst to support our Accounts Payable operations. The primary responsibility of this role is the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, Procurement and Finance teams to resolve invoice-related queries, follow up on outstanding actions and support the efficient execution of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.

This position is ideal for an individual with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and an interest in developing a career within Finance Operations.

• Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform invoice validation checks to ensure completeness and compliance with internal policies.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation where applicable.
• Monitor invoice processing queues and ensure timely action on outstanding items.
• Follow up with internal stakeholders regarding missing approvals, purchase orders and invoice-related queries.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers regarding invoice status, payment queries and supporting documentation requirements.
• Support vendor creation and maintenance activities in accordance with company controls and procedures.
• Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies and exceptions.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Support month-end activities and other Accounts Payable operational tasks as required.
• Manage and update tickets, requests and workflow activities in relevant systems.
• Escalate issues and risks appropriately to the AP Team Lead or Head of Accounts Payable.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations or a similar administrative role.
• Good understanding of invoice processing and financial controls.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within agreed service levels.
