• The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements.
• The role involves reconciling accounts, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, while collaborating with other departments to provide accurate financial information.
• The position may also include preparing reports for management, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel and other office tools.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with local tax laws and regulatory requirements applicable in Baku or willingness to learn them quickly.
• Demonstrated integrity, discretion when handling confidential information, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
