• Technically steer the Managed SOC, ensure detection use-case quality, and conduct service reviews;
• Own risk-based vulnerability management through verified remediation;
• Develop and optimize detection and response policies for endpoint, identity, and email security;
• Integrate log and telemetry sources with the central detection platform and ensure their quality;
• Automate detection workflows to reduce false positives;
• Further develop firewall rules and segmentation concepts together with the network team;
• Establish patching and hardening standards, including secure configuration of developer workstations;
• Support incident response through technical analysis and containment measures.

• Several years of experience in security engineering or security operations, focusing on EDR/XDR and SIEM;
• Experience in risk-based vulnerability management;
• Experience professionally steering a managed SOC or MDR partner;
• Very good Linux administration skills;
• Automation and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash;
• Good understanding of network security, including firewalls, segmentation, and VPN;
• Understanding of common attack techniques and MITRE ATT&CK;
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach;
• German at C1 level;
• English at B2 level;
• Nice to have: GCFA, GCIH, or Security+.
