site reliability engineer for retail technology

• Manage project DevOps tools and cloud infrastructure;
• Provide break-fix support;
• Develop and execute test cases for the cloud environment;
• Participate in architecture and technology reviews;
• Design, implement, and manage IT processes.

• Proficiency in operating systems, networking, AWS cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and CloudFormation;
• At least 5 years of experience automating routine tasks and system deployments with Python and Bash;
• 3–5 Years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines;
• 3–5 Years of experience in incident management and troubleshooting;
• At least 3 years of experience administering Windows and Linux systems;
• Excellent knowledge of web-based and service-based architectures, REST, GraphQL, and microservices patterns;
• At least 3 years of experience setting up observability systems with CloudWatch, Elastic Stack, Grafana, New Relic, or similar tools;
• Ability to stay up to date with security and technical trends and evolve a platform accordingly;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English;
• Collaborative approach;
• Strong communication skills for incident management and cross-team collaboration;
• Ability to work independently, develop solutions, and drive engineering features from requirements gathering through coordination and implementation;
• Automation mindset focused on reducing toil;
• Organized approach with attention to documentation and detail;
• Ability to lead and mentor team members;
• Resilience under pressure, especially during outages or critical incidents;
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders;
• Nice to have: experience with cloud connectivity including VPC peering, VPNs, hybrid cloud setups, and secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises infrastructure; experience leading a team; experience working on a platform; AWS certifications.
