• Define a new Node.js runtime-protection product line, including what it intercepts and its customer-visible surface
• Determine the technical approach, including instrumentation strategy, deployment shape, and programming language
• Build and ship the runtime-protection layer end to end, using the available tooling
• Develop a methodology for validating detection logic
• Use relevant threat intelligence from the existing security stack
• Meet targets for runtime overhead, false positives, false negatives, and customer-escalation volume
• Drive the work and own the outcome, shipping to customer fleets and monitoring telemetry

• Proven experience building and shipping a new product, security solution, major feature, or technical system from scratch
• End-to-end technical ownership from initial investigation and architecture through implementation, release, and production iteration
• Strong web application security knowledge and current knowledge of practical exploitation
• Understanding of how detection rules perform at scale, catching attackers without flagging legitimate code
• Ability to take on product management, architecture, lead engineering, and QA responsibilities, and to request resources or help when needed
• Comfortable directing AI coding agents to produce high-quality output
