Scalers partners with a UK FinTech company that builds software for the finance sector and operates as a developer-centric organization. Its infrastructure, applications, and services support everyday financial operations.

• Oversee security across the FinTech partner’s infrastructure, applications, and data to protect against security threats;
• Work closely with network, application, and engineering teams to harden technology platforms and ensure the right level of observability;
• Advise product delivery teams on security architecture, design, and development, ensuring secure deployment practices across the software lifecycle;
• Identify and recommend improvements to security systems, applications, and deployments.

• Experience with DevSecOps and familiarity with security principles and frameworks such as OWASP and NIST, including implementation of secure development lifecycle processes;
• Experience identifying and assessing security risks and implementing mitigation strategies;
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle;
• Proven experience handling security incidents and breaches and performing forensic investigations;
• Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM, and content filtering tools to monitor and defend enterprise environments;
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
