Manage and lead a cross-functional platform squad covering Platform, Security, Backend, and TestOps, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support
Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), enabling product squads to build, test, and deploy autonomously with minimal friction
Oversee and evolve the core technology stack, ensuring best practices across AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and Cloudflare
Champion a DevSecOps and quality-first mindset by integrating security and TestOps into the software development lifecycle
Make technical decisions on scalable infrastructure, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
Establish and monitor SRE metrics, including SLOs, SLIs, and incident response processes
Foster innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team
Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand pain points, gather requirements, and enable the wider Venga engineering ecosystem
Communicate technical roadmaps, platform health, and progress to stakeholders, including product leaders and other engineering teams
требования
At least 5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Backend software engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
Strong architectural understanding and hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), Kubernetes, GitLab, and Cloudflare
Experience managing diverse technical profiles across Infrastructure, Security, Backend, and Quality/TestOps
A servant leadership mindset and the ability to inspire, motivate, and align team members toward shared technical goals
Experience growing, coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to team members, including handling difficult conversations
Familiarity with Agile methodologies adapted for infrastructure and platform delivery, such as managing platform as a product
Experience navigating ambiguous requirements, migrating legacy systems, and scaling infrastructure in a fast-paced scale-up environment
Native or Advanced English
Будет плюсом: Spanish, managing blockchain and Web3 infrastructure (including nodes, RPC endpoints, and wallet security), FinTech experience with high-frequency trading platforms, ledgers, or payment gateways, FinOps practices and cloud spend optimization at scale, cloud compliance, AML and regulation, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS experience
