ETFbook is a Swiss SaaS company providing data, analytics, and custom solutions for the Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) space. Its platform delivers ETF insights through a web application and APIs, including product analysis, fund flow tracking, performance comparisons, and liquidity assessments.

• Own the Terraform architecture, including module design, product boundaries, state, and provider strategy;
• Drive the estate toward fully Terraform-managed infrastructure;
• Own safe change management through environment ordering, plan reviews, branch policies, approvals, and pipeline identities;
• Own the security posture with private-by-default, identity-first, and controlled-egress principles;
• Drive the hardening programme, including Defender, Entra-only authentication, shared-key removal, WAF, and secret and pipeline credential lifecycle;
• Own governance as code through management groups, Azure Policy, and tagging;
• Own observability, including signal coverage, Log Analytics design, Grafana, alerting, and SLOs;
• Own disaster recovery scope, backups, failover runbooks, and rehearsals;
• Own the duty rota and incident process, and participate in incident handling;
• Own FinOps, including attribution, budgets, rightsizing, and monthly cost narratives;
• Drive small infrastructure projects end to end;
• Mentor engineers through design and code review.

• 6+ Years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering;
• Several years owning technical direction, running projects end to end, and leading incidents;
• Deep Azure networking, identity, and security expertise;
• Architect-level Terraform expertise, including reusable modules, multi-subscription environments, and state strategy;
• Production Kubernetes experience;
• Experience with policy as code and cloud governance;
• Security engineering experience with sequencing changes without outages;
• Experience designing and testing observability and disaster recovery;
• Strong communication with engineers and leadership;
• English at B2 level or higher;
• Nice to have: AZ-305, AZ-500 or CKA, regulated or financial services experience, Databricks infrastructure, FinOps at scale, establishing AI-assisted engineering practice in a team.
