• Ensure production systems are available, scalable, performant, and operate as expected for external and internal users
• Advocate for SRE principles and engineering excellence
• Ensure infrastructure and tooling meet security standards, and drive security initiatives and best practices
• Design and implement disaster recovery and resilience strategies
• Provide visibility into system health and performance across teams
• Enable effective debugging, alerting, and incident response
• Provide infrastructure and self-service tooling to create efficient developer workflows and support best practices

• 5+ Years of experience building and operating production systems at scale, focused on reliability, scalability, and performance
• Deep experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and networking concepts, including VPCs, routing, load balancing, and DNS
• Ability to design secure and resilient systems and understand cost efficiency and trade-offs between performance, reliability, and cost
• Proficiency in container orchestration and hands-on experience designing, operating, and scaling Kubernetes clusters in production
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform, and designing reusable, maintainable infrastructure modules
• Proficiency with configuration management and packaging tools such as Helm
• Knowledge of modern deployment practices, including GitOps workflows, Argo CD, and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI
• Experience building and operating observability systems and understanding metrics, logging, and tracing
• Familiarity with incident management processes and tools such as PagerDuty, and ability to support triaging and resolving production incidents
• Experience designing and building shared infrastructure or internal platforms used by other engineering teams
• Living in the Netherlands
