platform engineer for data and AI infrastructure

ISS Tech Team creates smarter workplace experiences through technology. Its Global Technology Solutions team builds digital solutions, including sensors, IoT devices, data, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities, supporting ISS A/S operations across cleaning, workplace, food, and technical services.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Resource Manager, networking, storage, security, monitoring, and Azure Container Instances;
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including self-hosted agents, artifact management, and automated pipeline execution;
• Monitor and improve system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Check_MK, Azure Monitor, and logging frameworks;
• Define, implement, and maintain security controls aligned with ISS standards;
• Optimize infrastructure costs and performance using Azure Cost Management and related tooling;
• Develop automation and integrations using Python scripts, REST APIs, and Azure SDKs;
• Support AI infrastructure, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure API Management;
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and application layers;
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to ongoing team improvements.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar cloud infrastructure role;
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including subscriptions, resource groups, networking, compute, load balancers, security, and monitoring;
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or GitOps tooling;
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions;
• English proficiency, both written and spoken;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment;
• Strong communication skills, including direct customer interaction experience;
• Nice to have: monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, Python and Bash scripting, API integrations, Azure SDKs, Azure cost, security and performance optimization, interest in the Azure AI landscape, Agile/Scrum experience.
