The company provides global financial market data and manages change programs to deliver high-quality software connecting financial markets worldwide through a real-time, high-frequency, low-latency data management system.

• Participate in project planning with clients, business analysts, and team members to analyze requirements and recommend designs for complex systems
• Define and design project scope with project teams
• Work with planning and technology architects to align systems with the long-term IT strategy
• Recommend designs and develop application and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements and interfaces
• Modify existing software applications according to high-level specifications and industry standards
• Review work for compliance with application architecture standards
• Develop new cross-functional software systems using disciplined software development processes
• Perform unit testing and implement cross-functional systems that meet client and business needs
• Research emerging technologies
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to application development teams
• Use and stay current with multiple programming languages and software technologies
• Perform and test firmware and OS upgrades, troubleshoot system issues, and arrange hardware replacements and upgrades for platforms including HPE Synergy

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment with little daily supervision
• 5+ Years of experience as a Linux, Windows, VMWare, and Solace systems engineer or in an equivalent DevOps role in an enterprise environment
• IT lab administrator experience maintaining test environment health
• Expert-level understanding of Linux RHEL 7.x and 8.0, MS Windows Server 2008–2019, vSphere v6.x and 7.0, Solace PubSub+ and associated software
• Good knowledge of Windows- and Linux-based hardware platforms, such as IBM, HP, and Dell
• Thorough understanding of RAID storage and TCP/IP networking
