Infrastructure engineer for high-frequency trading

• Build, maintain, and optimize server and network infrastructure
• Configure and maintain VPNs, private networks, routing, firewalls, and secure connectivity between infrastructure components
• Manage infrastructure across AWS, Hetzner, and dedicated or bare-metal environments
• Automate provisioning and configuration
• Improve infrastructure reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security
• Optimize systems for performance-sensitive trading workloads
• Build and improve monitoring, observability, and alerting
• Evaluate new technologies, providers, hardware, and architectural approaches
• Work closely with developers and the trading team to identify infrastructure improvements for the overall trading stack
• Take end-to-end ownership of the trading infrastructure

• Hands-on experience setting up Kubernetes on bare metal, such as Hetzner, private data centers, or similar; managed clusters such as EKS/GKE alone are insufficient
• Solid command of Prometheus, Grafana, and a logging stack such as Loki, ELK, or equivalent
• Production experience with both Ansible and Terraform
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for container images using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar
• Understanding of ML infrastructure, including GPU nodes, job queues, large datasets, and long-running jobs
• Ability to assess legacy infrastructure code and make pragmatic decisions about what to reuse or rewrite
• Independence; this is a sole-infrastructure role on the project

• Office-based work in Limassol, Cyprus, working closely with the core team
