- Work within one or more engineering pods to define technical requirements, conduct design reviews, and provide hands-on engineering support throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Design, build, configure, and operate AWS-based solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily Terraform, to improve consistency, reliability, and deployment efficiency.
- Develop and enhance Kubernetes platform capabilities to support increasing demand while improving resilience, scalability, performance, operational efficiency, and developer experience.
- Implement and maintain cloud cost management practices, including resource tagging, allocation, rightsizing, capacity planning, usage monitoring, and cost optimisation strategies.
- Support the evaluation and adoption of open-source technologies and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions, ensuring alignment with security, privacy, licensing, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Apply robust release management and production-readiness processes, including automation, deployment governance, monitoring, alerting, logging, rollback procedures, and incident preparedness.
- Collaborate with Cloud Services, Application DevOps, Architecture, Security, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to achieve platform standards, remediation activities, and delivery objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability, security, observability, and operational excellence.
