Information systems security engineer

The Information Security Department at the Bank of Georgia is looking for an Information Systems Security Engineer .

• Selection, deployment, administration, and configuration of cybersecurity tools
• Improving and refining cyber threat detection and response capabilities

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role
• Higher education in IT, Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux/macOS operating systems architecture and security
• Knowledge of core security principles: least privilege, defense in depth, segmentation, encryption, PKI, etc.
• Practical experience working with various Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), preferably with experience in cloud security tools
• Knowledge/experience in security principles for Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered systems
• Proficiency in English
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High motivation and work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Будет плюсом: Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, IPS, WAF, etc. is preferred; Knowledge of Zero Trust principles is preferred; Knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.) is preferred; Professional security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS CSS, AZ-500, CCSP, etc.) is preferred
