Information Security Engineer Intern

• Assist the security engineering team in maintaining the core defense stack, including managing and fine-tuning alerts in MDR tools and monitoring DNS provider security events
• Monitor security alerts and health across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
• Assist in creating and updating technical playbooks, network diagrams, and engineering standards
• Execute simulated phishing campaigns, design realistic scenarios, analyze click rates, and help educate employees about social engineering tactics
• Research emerging threats and technologies to strengthen defenses

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical field
• Demonstrable interest in technical cybersecurity, such as through CTFs, home lab projects, or security certifications
• Understanding of networking (TCP/IP), operating systems (MacOS/Windows), and cloud fundamentals
• Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think like an attacker
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt when priorities shift
