devops engineer in telecommunications

• Manage and support enterprise applications and infrastructure across physical and virtual environments;
• Administer Linux and Windows Server platforms;
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes and Docker environments;
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions;
• Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies;
• Administer and support enterprise database platforms;
• Implement and maintain monitoring, observability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions;
• Ensure infrastructure security through patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities;
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, platform, and database issues;
• Participate in a paid on-call rotation, typically one week per month, providing out-of-hours support for critical production systems and infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a similar field;
• 5+ Years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Systems Administration, Database Administration, or a similar role;
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker;
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration;
• Experience with VMware or equivalent virtualization platforms;
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar;
• Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages;
• Experience supporting enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or MongoDB;
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills;
• Nice to have: Experience with Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, and automation frameworks; experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or similar monitoring platforms; knowledge of HAProxy, NGINX, Helm, and container registries; experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS; knowledge of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and enterprise backup solutions.

• Paid on-call rotation, typically one week per month; appropriate compensation is provided in accordance with company policy;
