Design and deliver platform and infrastructure projects, from conception and implementation through automation to stable production operations
Build, operate, and continuously improve platform environments based on Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift
Administer and enhance Linux-based enterprise environments, container platforms, microservices, and web applications
Design and standardize CI/CD processes for build, test, deployment, and operations
Automate infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes using Ansible, Terraform, Shell/Bash, Python, Go, or comparable technologies
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management solutions
Implement and operate containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
Build and enhance monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
Take responsibility for 2nd- and 3rd-level support for complex system and platform environments
Analyze and sustainably resolve complex issues and incidents
Support incident handling, crisis communications, and root-cause analysis
Implement security, compliance, and operational requirements
Contribute to operational, security, and platform concepts, technical standards, and documentation
Ensure traceability, auditability, and quality when making platform and infrastructure changes
Collaborate closely with development, architecture, security, operations, and project stakeholders

At least 5 years of documented professional and project experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, including hands-on project work
Experience with Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift 4; enterprise cluster administration is preferred
Strong knowledge of GitLab and GitLab CI/CD or comparable DevOps platforms
Experience with automated build, test, and deployment processes
Experience operating applications and platforms in production-like environments
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation, particularly Ansible and/or Terraform
Confident use of Linux; Red Hat Enterprise Linux is preferred
Experience with Docker and container technologies
Practical experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic/ELK, Splunk, or Opsgenie
Experience with IT infrastructure security, BSI IT-Grundschutz, Zero Trust, secret management, or comparable security topics
Knowledge of Identity & Access Management, such as LDAP, SAML2, OIDC, or OAuth2
Ability to conduct structured troubleshooting, handle incidents, and communicate during crises
Willingness to document technical changes clearly and implement them in regulated environments
German proficiency at C1/C2 level
English proficiency at B2 level
Residence in Germany near Braunschweig, Brandenburg, or Berlin
Willingness to collaborate on a project basis in security-authority and regulated customer environments
