DevOps engineer in national security

• Design, build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
• Support and optimise AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS and ECS platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions to improve platform performance and visibility.
• Work closely with software engineers, testers and architects to deliver secure, reliable and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and environment issues across development and production environments.
• Contribute to cloud migration initiatives, platform improvements and engineering best practices.
• Share knowledge, reusable tooling and automation patterns across teams.
• Adhere to security, governance and information-handling requirements within regulated and secure environments.

• Experience working in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, ECS or other container platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins or equivalent.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions for cloud environments.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of security, compliance and governance requirements within regulated environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within Agile, cross-functional teams.
• The successful candidate must hold a current high level of security clearance.
