devops engineer in mobility infrastructure

Deutsche Bahn develops digital products used daily by thousands of people. The SPA team creates modern web applications with Vue, Nuxt, and FroC, supporting products from initial concept through operation for mobility, infrastructure, and logistics.

• Develop and further develop modern web applications with Vue.js and Nuxt.js;
• Implement performant, responsive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS or comparable technologies;
• Develop frontend and backend components in TypeScript with the team;
• Integrate and design REST APIs using OpenAPI;
• Ensure code quality through testing with Vitest and Playwright and through code reviews;
• Debug, operate, and continuously improve production systems;
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployments on OpenShift;
• Participate in on-call duty.

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or a comparable technical field, or completed vocational training;
• Several years of professional experience with Vue.js and Nuxt.js;
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript;
• Knowledge of modern testing approaches, including unit and E2E testing;
• Confident use of AI;
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style;
• Agile working approach;
• Fluent German and English;
• Nice to have: experience with Node.js and SSR/SSG, knowledge of OpenShift, Helm, or Kubernetes, monitoring experience, data visualization with D3.js or charting libraries, database experience such as Postgres.

• The work location can be chosen within Germany in agreement with the manager, with a choice between mobile work and office work;
