devops engineer in fintech

SMARTCORE AG is a fintech holding building infrastructure for next-generation payments. Its solutions cover the financial operations cycle, including core banking, payment processing, cards, wallets, and anti-fraud systems, with a focus on secure, high-speed card acquiring.

• Support AWS infrastructure, including networks, compute, databases, queues, and secrets;
• Add new services, environments, and components to Kubernetes and ECS;
• Keep Terraform, Terragrunt, and ArgoCD configurations up to date;
• Set up and troubleshoot CI/CD, including image building, deployments, and pipelines;
• Monitor logs and alerts using Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch;
• Investigate incidents during on-call duties and assist the development team with deployments and environments;
• Manage Cloudflare DNS, CDN, WAF, and certificates;
• Maintain ClickHouse and the PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and MongoDB data layer;
• Ensure security compliance covering access, secrets, networks, and PCI / ISO requirements.

• 4+ Years of production experience with AWS, including VPC, IAM, EKS, ECS, RDS, load balancing, and secrets;
• Practical experience with EKS, deployments, debugging, Ingress, and IRSA;
• Strong Terraform skills, including modules and state, plus Terragrunt;
• Experience with Helm, GitOps, ArgoCD, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and CodeBuild;
• Experience with ECS Fargate, Kafka / MSK, ClickHouse, Cloudflare, Grafana, Prometheus / AMP, CloudWatch, External Secrets, and Karpenter;
• FinTech or PCI experience;
• Readiness for on-call duties and production debugging;
• Russian and English sufficient for documentation and AWS.
