DevOps engineer in fintech

SmartCore is a fintech holding building infrastructure for the next generation of payments. Our solutions cover the entire financial operations cycle — from core banking and processing to cards, wallets, and anti-fraud systems.

• Supporting infrastructure in AWS: network, compute, databases, queues, and secrets.
• Adding new services, environments, and components to Kubernetes and ECS.
• Keeping IaC (Terraform / Terragrunt) and GitOps (ArgoCD) up to date.
• Setting up and troubleshooting CI/CD: image building, deployments, and pipelines.
• Monitoring logs and alerts (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
• Investigating incidents (on-call) and assisting the development team with deployments and environments.
• Managing Cloudflare: DNS, CDN, WAF, and certificates.
• Maintaining ClickHouse and the rest of the data layer (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB).
• Ensuring security compliance: accesses, secrets, network, and PCI / ISO requirements.

• AWS: 4+ years of production experience (VPC, IAM, EKS, ECS, RDS, load balancing, secrets).
• Kubernetes: Practical experience with EKS, deployments, debugging, Ingress, IRSA.
• Infrastructure & CI/CD: Strong skills in Terraform (modules, state), Terragrunt, Helm + GitOps (ArgoCD), Docker, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions / CodeBuild).
• Tech Stack: Experience with ECS Fargate, Kafka / MSK, ClickHouse, Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, WAF), Grafana + Prometheus / AMP, CloudWatch, External Secrets, and Karpenter.
• Domain & Operations: FinTech or PCI experience is required. Must be ready for on-call duties and production debugging (e.g., pod not starting, no traffic, missing metrics).
• Languages: Russian and English (sufficient for documentation and AWS).
