DevOps engineer in financial services

You set up the Kubernetes cluster that brings a fragmented hosting landscape in financial services together into one clear whole. From multiple platforms side by side to a deliberate move towards European cloud, with you at the helm of the project. The company is a financial services provider in insurance and mortgages, part of a larger group. A small, close-knit infrastructure/platform team with direct communication, little noise and plenty of ownership.

• Manage and further develop existing cloud environments
• Set up a new Kubernetes cluster with a European hosting partner
• Consolidate multiple hosting clusters into one landscape
• Containerize applications and manage workloads in Kubernetes
• Build infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Set up monitoring, logging, security and backups
• Collaborate with software engineers on CI/CD and deployments
• Use AI to review infrastructure code and speed up migrations

• Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably at a SaaS provider
• Kubernetes and containerization are second nature to you
• Strong experience with Terraform and public cloud, including multiple environments side by side
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Affinity with AI and actively using it in your work
• Proactive, independent and clear in communication
• Fluent in Dutch

• €5,000–€7,000 gross per month (40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance
