devops engineer in compliant communications

Global Relay provides a unified communications, data capture, and data analysis platform for compliant communications. It securely captures and manages communications data, helping organizations maintain control, visibility, and compliance with regulatory requirements across various industries and authorities.

• Design, enhance, and implement reusable CI/CD solutions using current industry best practices;
• Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of production and test environments by building dynamic dashboards and alerting rulesets;
• Develop junior and intermediate DevOps engineers to maximize their potential and impact;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to automate requirements early in the development lifecycle;
• Share knowledge and solutions within the DevOps community to maximize efficiency and standardization;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues by reviewing dashboards and logs, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence;
• Write and run deployment automation tools using Helm, Ansible, or other configuration management systems.

• At least 4 years of experience applying DevOps practices and implementing solutions with Python, Java, and shell scripting;
• Linux experience;
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLabCI, CircleCI, and TravisCI;
• Experience with container and container platform technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience mentoring and supporting other DevOps engineers;
• Experience working in a microservice-oriented environment;
• Experience in an operational environment with a solid understanding of distributed systems and network-related troubleshooting;
• Experience applying security practices within the software development lifecycle;
• Excellent understanding of software delivery practices, including Git branching models and configuration management;
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Helm, and Puppet;
• Excellent knowledge of build tools such as Maven and Gradle;
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases;
• Nice to have: Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, excellent knowledge of writing Jenkins deployment pipelines using Groovy and Jenkinsfiles, practical experience with feature toggling, no-downtime deployments and blue-green deployments, working knowledge of Kafka.
