devops engineer in cloud platforms

The company builds, secures, and operates cloud platforms for enterprise and regulated organisations across banking, telecoms, and healthcare, as well as fast-growing scale-ups. It is a profitable, engineering-led business with partnerships including AWS, Cloudflare, Elastic, and Microsoft.

• Build cloud platforms for enterprise clients within a defined scope alongside a lead
• Write and review Terraform and ship changes through CI/CD pipelines
• Run managed services for live client platforms, including monitoring, alerting, patching, and cost and security posture improvements
• Join client calls with a lead present, take technical actions, and close them out
• Explain how systems work to client teams that are newer to cloud
• Document what was built so clients and the team can operate it
• Rotate across several clients rather than working on one internal system

• 3–5 Years of hands-on experience operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure
• Practical Terraform experience with modules, state management, environments, and reviews; experience with another IaC tool is acceptable
• Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS or AKS) or ECS
• Experience personally building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Scripting or coding skills in at least one of Python, Go, TypeScript, or Bash, sufficient to automate and debug
• Solid written and spoken English
• Based in Nicosia preferred
