devops engineer in cloud & DevOps

• Form and drive the DevOps roadmap across multiple project teams;
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy shared pipeline libraries;
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform/TFE;
• Manage GCP resources, including IAM, networking, and cost optimization;
• Set up and maintain monitoring and observability with Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus;
• Support the team in troubleshooting;
• Automate processes with Python and Bash;
• Grow into a broader architectural and strategic role;
• Document key decisions with ADRs;
• Collaborate with the team through Slack, Jira, and Confluence.

• Demonstrated deep DevOps expertise across CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms;
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform, including IAM and networking;
• Experience with Terraform or Terraform Enterprise;
• Experience with Jenkins and Groovy-based shared pipeline libraries;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, or equivalent;
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation;
• Strong communication skills and ability to represent DevOps direction and trade-offs to teams and stakeholders;
• Comfortable owning and advancing an improvement roadmap rather than only executing assigned tickets;
• Nice to have: Flask/SQLAlchemy or similar Python web frameworks, Helm for Kubernetes package management, Oracle DB or SQL, FinOps or cloud cost optimization, experience architecting DevOps practices across multiple teams or projects within one account, retail or e-commerce domain experience.
