DevOps engineer in application security

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to design, implement and manage scalable, secure and efficient cloud infrastructures.

• Design and develop templates for configuring SonarQube Advanced Security.
• Collaborate with application owners to integrate security tools into their CI/CD pipelines, providing training and technical support.
• Verify the correct implementation of security configurations.
• Resolve questions and incidents related to the integration and configuration of the tools.
• Analyze SonarQube results and identify the security vulnerabilities detected, assessing their nature and severity.
• Communicate vulnerabilities to the responsible teams and help them identify possible false positives.
• Advise teams on investigating vulnerabilities and applying the necessary corrective measures.
• Track remediation actions to ensure continuous progress.
• Prepare security reports and periodic updates on the status of vulnerabilities and their resolution.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code templates and automation modules.
• Configure monitoring and alerting solutions, prepare technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• More than 5 years of experience in software engineering and more than 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or similar roles.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, including Application Insights, alerts and Logic Apps.
• Experience with OpenShift.
• Solid knowledge of scripting and automation with PowerShell, Bash or TypeScript.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD strategies and branch management.
• Knowledge of static application security testing (SAST).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Experience managing large-scale Azure environments.
• Experience in automation and scripting in enterprise environments.
• A university degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Good level of English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Practical mindset, results-oriented approach and ability to carry out technical tasks independently.
