devops engineer for web data infrastructure

Geonode builds infrastructure for large-scale web data access, including residential proxy networks, scraping APIs, and technology that enables AI agents to access the open web. The bootstrapped and profitable company has approximately 30 employees.

• Run and scale containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Work across the data layer with ClickHouse, Redis, MongoDB, and Postgres;
• Build and maintain observability with Prometheus and Grafana;
• Own backups, monitoring, and alerting end-to-end;
• Ship tooling and automation in Golang and TypeScript;
• Work closely with the infrastructure lead and stay near platform-shaping decisions.

• Deep hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and production systems at scale;
• Solid experience with ClickHouse, Redis, MongoDB, and Postgres;
• Experience setting up Prometheus/Grafana stacks from scratch;
• Ability to write production code in Golang and/or TypeScript;
• Genuine understanding of network protocols, routing, and underlying network behavior;
• Based or working in a European time zone;
• Nice to have: experience with proxies, VPNs, or traffic routing infrastructure, experience working on systems where network performance was the product.
