devops engineer for SAP Private Cloud

• Install, operate, and optimize the SAP Private Cloud based on a Google Distributed Cloud Air-gapped (GDC-A) environment;
• Take end-to-end responsibility for platform operations, from provisioning and operation to continuous development;
• Continuously develop the SAP Private Cloud operating concept together with the team;
• Ensure stable, secure, and performant platform operations according to the DevOps principle “You build it, you run it”;
• Automate operational and provisioning processes and continuously improve the service;
• Analyze technical requirements and develop sustainable solutions within the team;
• Collaborate closely with cross-service teams, partners, and other stakeholders;
• Contribute ideas for platform development, automation, and optimization of operational processes.

• Completed university degree, IT-related vocational training, or comparable qualification;
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or DevSecOps Engineer;
• Practical cloud experience and interest in modern platform technologies;
• Solid knowledge of or practical experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD;
• Experience with agile ways of working and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams;
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with strong initiative and willingness to learn;
• Strong teamwork skills and enjoyment of exchanging knowledge with colleagues and partners;
• Fluent German and very good written and spoken English;
• Nice to have: Initial experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Cloud products.

• Compensation ranges from 57.800 € to 84.680 €, depending on responsibility, experience, and skills;
