DevOps engineer for event-driven systems

• As a DevOps Engineer, you design, develop and take responsibility for sophisticated cloud, deployment and operations solutions in a complex environment.
• Developing and optimizing automated CI/CD pipelines, modern deployment methods and infrastructure-as-code solutions based on current cloud technologies.
• Together with the team, you develop architecture and operations concepts and ensure that requirements for availability, scalability, performance, security and cost-effectiveness are met.
• Integrating applications and platform components into existing system landscapes and coordinating the successful transition of production-ready solutions into operations.
• You develop testing, monitoring, logging and alerting concepts and ensure clear technical and operational documentation.
• Analyzing and resolving complex incidents across application, infrastructure and network boundaries, and deriving sustainable technical improvements.
• You work independently with internal and external stakeholders and are confident working in an agile environment.
• Together with the team, you operate and optimize a modern cloud-based web application and make a significant contribution to stable, secure and high-performance operations.

• Successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field; alternatively, an equivalent qualification with relevant practical experience.
• Several years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, cloud engineering or a comparable technical environment.
• In-depth knowledge of designing, automating and operating complex cloud, platform or application landscapes, as well as proven experience using them in production.
• You have extensive experience with AWS, GitLab CI/CD, infrastructure as code (CDK), and container and orchestration platforms.
• You analyze complex requirements systematically, develop robust solutions and take responsibility for their successful implementation.
• You have experience with modern development and operations practices such as Git, code reviews, automated testing, monitoring, logging, tracing, incident management and technical documentation.
• You work independently in an agile environment and have successfully collaborated in cross-functional teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Confident communication in German (at least C2 level) and fluent English complete your profile.
