devops engineer for digital public services

Amaris Consulting is an independent technology consulting firm that provides guidance and solutions to businesses. It serves more than 1,000 clients worldwide through four business lines: Information System & Digital, Telecom, Life Sciences, and Engineering.

• Take over and prepare the existing codebase for an open-source release;
• Remove unnecessary dependencies, proprietary branding, and trademarks;
• Upgrade libraries and components to address security vulnerabilities;
• Support preparation of the solution for Digital Public Good submission;
• Maintain repositories, documentation, and release processes;
• Manage external contributions and improve development workflows;
• Build and maintain CI/CD and deployment processes;
• Support production deployments and application releases;
• Work with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, automation, and orchestration;
• Define DNS, firewall, monitoring, and infrastructure security requirements;
• Monitor application performance, availability, and usage;
• Support production incidents and Disaster Recovery testing;
• Maintain libraries and dependencies and implement security upgrades;
• Support future development of new platform features.

• Strong hands-on DevOps, Platform, or SRE experience;
• 3+ Years of hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault;
• 3+ Years of working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js;
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker;
• Experience with CI/CD and Git-based release management;
• Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably Terraform;
• Production monitoring and incident management experience;
• Understanding of application and infrastructure security;
• Experience working with existing platforms and taking ownership quickly;
• Nice to have: open-source projects, GitOps, cloud platforms, Disaster Recovery, mobile application releases, Digital Public Goods.
