Oviva delivers digital health experiences to patients.

• Design, build, and operate reliable backend services
• Take ownership of software domains and their underlying components
• Develop and manage scalable, secure, and performant APIs
• Contribute to team ceremonies, including the company’s OKR framework
• Proactively manage the health of owned services
• Contribute to Oviva’s technology evolution through RFCs and Technical Document Design
• Manage incidents, including root cause analysis and preventative actions
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and development processes
• Lead design discussions on owned topics and collaborate with squad members on quality, technical design, security, and architecture in compliance with standards and concepts
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on owned projects
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

• Extensive Java development experience and a deep understanding of web service frameworks
• Strong experience designing and building service-oriented architectures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver initiatives end to end
• Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
• Commitment to writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Strong teamwork skills and a focus on team success
