HomeBuddy operates an online marketplace connecting contractors with homeowners to complete home improvement projects in the U.S.

• Deploy, support, configure, and optimize infrastructure;
• Manage product segments, staging, development, and testing environments centrally;
• Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes;
• Set up and support monitoring systems;
• Automate processes;
• Implement best practices and solutions for developer-system interaction;
• Prepare technical documentation for implementation;
• Help migrate infrastructure to AWS.

• Have at least three years of Linux administration experience;
• Have excellent knowledge of network technologies, including TCP/UDP, NAT, Firewall, and VPN;
• Have experience with Nginx;
• Have experience building highly available and scalable services;
• Understand microservice architecture;
• Have experience with CI/CD tools;
• Use Git version control;
• Have experience with containerization and virtualization using Docker;
• Know monitoring and logging tools;
• Be skilled in forming infrastructure requirements;
• Be proficient in developing system deployment documentation;
• Have very good English at least at upper-intermediate level;
• Have fluent Russian;
• Nice to have: Terraform, Ansible, infrastructure as code, RabbitMQ, SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL/MariaDB and Redis, organization and impact assessment of information protection measures and facilities, Kubernetes.
