devops engineer for a cloud platform

The team develops and modernizes a large-scale, cloud-based web platform that supports secure, scalable, business-critical services in a regulated environment.

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure;
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins;
• Automate deployments, infrastructure, and operational processes;
• Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and RDS;
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues;
• Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and availability;
• Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure;
• Implement backup and disaster recovery practices;
• Support software releases and deployment processes;
• Work closely with development and operations teams;
• Contribute to the modernization and continuous improvement of the cloud platform;
• Ensure reliable infrastructure supporting business-critical processes.

• 10+ Years of professional experience in IT/DevOps;
• Strong commercial experience in DevOps;
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS;
• Strong experience with Jenkins;
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with GitLab;
• Hands-on experience managing AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and RDS;
• Experience with infrastructure and deployment automation;
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Understanding of cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery practices;
• Experience working with large-scale cloud-based platforms;
• Ability to work effectively with development and operations teams;
• Professional-level English communication skills;
• Candidates with less than 10 years of professional experience will not be considered;
• Nice to have: Experience working in regulated environments, experience with large-scale enterprise platforms, experience supporting business-critical applications, experience with cloud platform modernization, strong focus on scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
