DevOps Engineer

Netcompany is a technology company providing IT consulting services across public and private sectors, including product design and engineering, digital strategy, data services and management, cloud migration, program delivery, and service operations.

• Implement and support improvements to efficiency, software quality, and delivery times;
• Share responsibility across development and operations with a focus on people, processes, and tools;
• Apply DevOps best practices in a multidisciplinary team;
• Use DevOps tooling, containers, and containerisation;
• Communicate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical implementation;
• Facilitate business knowledge and act as a business SME to support an efficient DevOps team;
• Negotiate with and influence stakeholders to ensure effective service operation and appropriate effort allocation.

• 3+ Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
• Strong knowledge of AWS;
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins;
• Practical experience with Terraform (IaC), Kubernetes, and Helm;
• Experience with Python and automation scripting;
• Experience with multiple database ecosystems, architecture, and integration;
• Experience with monitoring tools for system reliability and performance;
• Experience with schema change management, such as Liquibase;
• Understanding of GitOps principles;
• Automation-focused mindset with proactive monitoring, continuous improvement, and best-practice definition;
• Willingness to travel;
• Right to work in the UK;
• Ability to attain UK Security Clearance;
