DevOps engineer

• We develop our own cloud and self-service platforms for our customers, who include organizations in the regulated healthcare sector. Our software developers build the platforms, and you ensure that they run stably, securely and observably. The foundation is in place: Managed Kubernetes, GitOps and CI/CD. Your focus is on the reliable operation of this environment. You will contribute your experience to building monitoring, alerting and backup concepts and develop them further together with the team.
• You operate our Kubernetes platforms across all stages (Dev, Staging, Prod) and ensure stability, availability and scalability.
• You operate and improve our CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including build agents, container registry and security scans.
• You are responsible for the GitOps deployment process with ArgoCD and Kustomize and support releases, rollbacks and changes during ongoing operations.
• You build an end-to-end monitoring, logging and alerting concept for the platform infrastructure, so that metrics and logs generate reliable, meaningful alerts.
• You design and establish backup and restore procedures for the platforms and ensure through regular tests that they work in an emergency.
• You take on incident and problem management for the platform, maintain runbooks and operational documentation, and serve as the point of contact for the development team on all operational matters.

• You have several years of experience operating production Kubernetes environments, preferably including Managed Kubernetes.
• You have in-depth knowledge of observability, ideally with Prometheus, Grafana and Loki, and know what good alerting looks like.
• You have experience with CI/CD and GitOps, for example with Azure DevOps and ArgoCD or comparable tools.
• Linux, containers and networking fundamentals such as DNS, TLS, Ingress and load balancing are part of your toolkit. You automate recurring tasks with Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• You use AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code or Codex as a matter of course in your daily work.
• You take responsibility for “your” platform and remain calm and structured during incidents.
• You communicate clearly with developers, including when something should not go into production as planned.
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge, document things clearly and actively connect with colleagues from other teams.
