• Support and maintain Microsoft SQL Server production environments
• Monitor database health, performance, availability, and capacity
• Troubleshoot database issues and support production incidents
• Optimize queries and improve database performance
• Manage backups, recovery processes, security, permissions, and access
• Support database deployments, releases, schema changes, and migrations
• Review T-SQL, database changes, and migration scripts
• Contribute to pull request reviews and promote database best practices
• Work closely with developers on database design and performance
• Support High Availability and Disaster Recovery processes
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment and CI/CD processes
• Contribute to monitoring, observability, and database automation
• Maintain clear documentation, procedures, and runbooks
• Help improve database operations, monitoring, and management

• 3+ Years of experience in database administration, database engineering, or a similar role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments
• Strong T-SQL skills
• Good understanding of performance tuning and database troubleshooting
• Experience with backups, recovery, and database security
• Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) concepts
• Experience supporting database deployments and schema changes
• Familiarity with source control, pull requests, and CI/CD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
