• Represent Security in the team by running threat modeling sessions, performing vulnerability tests, conducting risk analyses and security assessments, and supporting incident handling
• Help realize a state-of-the-art monitoring and alerting system
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices in Azure environments
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations; conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the team’s skills and capabilities
• Propose and support security initiatives, work with different teams at various levels to implement them, and participate in the Security Guild
• Architect visibility, detection, mitigation, and observability capabilities
• Drive cross-team initiatives and take on greater responsibility for the product’s overall security roadmap as a potential growth path to Principal Cloud Security Engineer

• Deep understanding of cloud security infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, and desired state configuration
• Experience with Zero-Trust architecture, defensible security architecture, security processes, incident management, vulnerability management, threat modeling, logging and monitoring (SIEM), and controls and requirements from standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
• Up-to-date knowledge of cloud security tools and practices
• Automation-first mindset and a goal of making processes predictable and automated
• Proficiency with Helm Charts and Kubernetes, and familiarity with incident response platforms such as PagerDuty
• Significant experience with comprehensive monitoring of SaaS platforms using Datadog, Azure Monitoring, or AWS APM
• Willingness to fix issues rather than only report them
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role running workloads on public cloud
