• Maintain and enhance core cloud platform infrastructure for large-scale, mission-critical cloud services;
• Design and implement core platform components to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency;
• Drive platform innovation by evaluating, piloting, and implementing cutting-edge cloud technologies;
• Select and deploy open-source tools and build platform services for deployment, monitoring, and operations;
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues across development, test, and production environments;
• Enhance platform capabilities through software development and infrastructure management;
• Enhance developer-facing capabilities through well-architected platform services and APIs;
• Drive automation for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of platform resources;
• Establish and promote best practices for observability, performance optimization, and security across cloud environments;
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define architectural standards and platform best practices;
• Stay current with cloud infrastructure technologies, engage in communities, and evaluate emerging approaches.

• Experience with public cloud providers, preferably AWS;
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes;
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation;
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and software platform design principles;
• Experience designing and operating scalable, secure, and high-performing Kubernetes platforms;
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, PKI, and SSL/TLS;
• Experience with service-oriented and microservice architectures;
• Strong Linux/Unix background with automation and scripting skills in Python, Go, or Ruby;
• Familiarity with Kubernetes operators and admission control tools such as OPA and Kyverno;
• Understanding of security, compliance, and operational best practices in cloud environments;
• Understanding of Agile and other software development methodologies and processes;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across engineering teams;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline;
• 5+ Years of experience in cloud platform or infrastructure engineering roles.
