• Design, debug, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for speed, reliability, maintainability, and security;
• Diagnose and resolve build failures, flaky tests, and deployment issues;
• Automate secret management and rotation across environments;
• Integrate pipelines with GitLab, cloud providers, Kubernetes, and third-party APIs;
• Develop and maintain automation tooling primarily in Python;
• Analyze existing Python codebases to understand CI/CD workflows and fix issues at the source;
• Contribute to product code when necessary to unblock releases or improve delivery processes;
• Monitor pipeline performance and systematically eliminate bottlenecks;
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure engineers to refine build, test, and deployment workflows.

• Excellent Python skills and ability to maintain clean, well-structured codebases and establish best practices;
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably GitLab CI;
• Proven ability to debug complex pipeline and deployment issues end-to-end;
• Experience with secret management systems such as HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager;
• Solid understanding of REST and/or GraphQL APIs;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• Nice to have: Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Helm, shell scripting skills, experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Loki, asynchronous Python experience, build and deployment optimization experience.
