Azure security engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions across Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud security, identity and access management, network security, and data protection.

• Design and implement security solutions for Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage identity and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and related security tools.
• Implement network security measures, including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and secure connectivity.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate threats, and respond to security incidents.
• Implement data protection, encryption, and key management practices.
• Manage Azure security tools and identify vulnerabilities and security risks.
• Support security audits, compliance assessments, and governance initiatives.
• Automate security operations and maintain security documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement cloud security best practices.

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security services.
• Expertise in identity and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC.
• Knowledge of Azure network security, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Experience with data protection, encryption, and key management.
• Understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• This position is for 1 year with possibility of extension.
