Azure Data Platform Engineer

Athora Netherlands is an insurance company operating the Zwitserleven and Reaal brands. It focuses primarily on pensions and life insurance in the Dutch market and is part of a European group with offices in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, and Italy.

• Design, build, and manage the Microsoft Azure Data Platform
• Develop scalable data pipelines with Databricks
• Configure and manage the Power BI environment
• Contribute to data governance, including security, monitoring, and compliance
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Automate deployments using CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)

• Fluent Dutch
• Demonstrable experience with Azure cloud services and data engineering
• Knowledge of Databricks, Azure DevOps, and Terraform
• Experience building and managing web services
• Skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and CI/CD principles
