Synmatch AI's client develops a webshop, platform, and intelligent automations that help restaurants strengthen customer relationships, operate more independently, and become more profitable.

• Own the frontend of the guest ordering shop and Admin Control Panel;
• Establish frontend practices and standards as the first developer focused on frontend as a core craft;
• Build frontend features independently using Docker, Git, GitLab CI, and REST APIs via Axios;
• Review and verify AI-ported Vue code during the migration of legacy Aurelia surfaces;
• Shape features with the Product Manager and Product Designer by assessing feasibility, interaction options, and effort estimates;
• Complete the 60-day onboarding into the existing architecture with approximately 6 hours of weekly knowledge transfer from a senior engineer;
• Introduce concrete measures that improve frontend processes and code quality;
• Work hands-on in the code every day.

• Several years of senior-level frontend experience in a product with real users, ideally in e-commerce, marketplace, or food delivery;
• Deep Vue 3 expertise, including Composition API, reactivity, component boundaries, and Pinia;
• Strong TypeScript proficiency;
• Real experience consuming REST APIs, including production-ready error, empty, and loading states;
• Regular frontend testing practice with Vitest and Cypress;
• Solid Docker experience and confident daily Git usage;
• Proven ability to deliver features independently end-to-end without hand-holding;
• Hypothesis-driven approach with the ability to demonstrate how diagnosis changed outcomes;
• Sufficient backend understanding to reason about API needs; PHP is not required;
• Fluent English;
• A few hours of daily overlap with the Bremen team around Central European Time;
• Ability to measure work by outcomes for restaurants and guests rather than tickets closed;
• Ability to turn rough intent into working interfaces without waiting for pixel-perfect handoffs;
• Genuine interest in this specific role;
• Nice to have: German.
