Java Developer

The company builds a platform for a global bank that supports information gathering, processing, and data access across the organization.

• Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality, and scope expectations;
• Participate in all stages of SDLC within an agile Scrum environment;
• Form partnerships with technology vendors and gain deep understanding of products;
• Enhance and re-architect existing components to satisfy new requirements for performance and scalability;
• Provide level 3 escalation support for the application.

• 6+ Years of experience with Java;
• Proficiency in Java (Core, JDBC, MT, Collections, I/O) and Spring Boot;
• Experience with SQL, PL-SQL on Oracle DB, and container platforms based on Kubernetes;
• Knowledge of REST web services, Kafka, and Redis;
• Skills in Unix commands and shell scripting;
• Familiarity with standard data structures and algorithms;
• Experience with JIRA, Harness/uDeploy, SonarQube, TeamCity, Artifactory, and Git;
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience;
• Nice to have: Master's degree in computer science, experience with Scrum methodology, NoSQL databases, microservices design and implementation, financial services technology, and physical/logical data modeling.
