• Assess Fluent Commerce against approximately 120 business requirements, determine what is available out of the box, configurable, extensible, or requires custom development, and estimate the effort for each
• Design the target integration architecture with the Enterprise Architect across eCommerce, POS, ERP and stock, payments, carriers, marketplace partners, and customer-service tooling; explain the cost of a domain-driven approach compared with point-to-point integration
• Lead integration workshops with client IT covering products, inventory, pricing, online and in-store orders, third-party partners, carriers, stores, and payments, including sequencing with a new payment provider rollout
• Design interim pick, pack, and despatch processes for stores and the distribution centre while no warehouse management system is in place, and identify risks and options
• Author the Technical Design Guide covering logical architecture, system context, non-functional requirements, and data migration
• Produce estimates by functional area and provide technical input to the MVP plan, rollout approach, and test strategy
• Act as the technical counterpart to the OMS vendor and client IT
• Be ready to lead the engineering team into the MVP build

• Technical lead experience on at least one Order Management System implementation; Fluent Commerce experience is preferred
• Experience with Fluent Commerce workflows and rulesets, custom rules via the Fluent SDK in Java, and GraphQL API, or comparable OMS leadership with evidence of fast platform ramp-up
• Experience designing API- and event-based integrations for retail order flows, with idempotency and reconciliation built in
• Strong hands-on Java skills to set extension patterns and review custom OMS code
• Ability to turn discovery findings into a technical design and defensible estimates covering solution options, effort by functional area, technical risks, and cost drivers
• Confidence leading workshops with client IT and explaining architecture and cost trade-offs to a Head of Technology audience
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Будет плюсом: commercetools order and inventory integration with an OMS; Adyen or similar PSP integrations in order flows, including capture on despatch, refunds, and split tender; Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision or similar ERP integration for stock and finance; carrier and label integrations such as Royal Mail and DPD; returns platforms and marketplace order feeds; domain-driven design or integration abstraction layers for composable retail; high-availability design (99.9%), RTO and RPO targets, audit, and order history migration
