Dressup Group has operated in the Georgian market for 32 years and exclusively represents globally recognized clothing and footwear brands. The company has more than 90 stores and an online store, Dressup.ge. A leading fashion e-commerce platform in Georgia, Dressup.ge is looking for a Tech Lead with strong PHP and e-commerce experience to plan complex system architecture and scalability, actively contribute to writing and reviewing code, and lead the technical team.

• Define and manage the technical architecture and roadmap for e-commerce and retail platforms.
• Make technology and architecture decisions considering business value, delivery speed, operational risk, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Define a strategy for modernizing legacy systems by balancing Refactoring, Replacement, and Coexistence approaches and avoiding unnecessary rewrites.
• Design scalable and resilient solutions for high-load scenarios (short-term promotions, seasonal peaks).
• Contribute directly to writing and reviewing code at a Senior developer level, not only preparing architecture documents.
• Technically manage major incidents in the Production environment, conduct Root-Cause Analysis, and implement Runbooks and processes so knowledge and responsibility are distributed across the team; manage incidents and root-cause analysis, and act as the team's primary escalation contact.
• Define and implement development standards: code quality, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and security.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of developers working across different stacks, and conduct code reviews.
• Own and develop SOAP/XML integration with the Retail ERP system and RESTful integrations with banks and logistics companies.
• Evaluate and select technologies, vendors, and third-party integrations (payment systems, PIM/OMS/ERP).
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize platform performance and plan scalability on MySQL, Redis, and Docker infrastructure.
• Produce technical documentation, including Architecture Decision Records (ADR) and system diagrams.
• Provide technical oversight for the retail stack (Django REST Framework, Go, C#, Kotlin, React).
• Identify practical opportunities for AI and automation in both e-commerce and retail.
• Establish standards for the responsible use of AI-Assisted Development and evaluate AI solutions based on business value, quality, security, and data privacy.

• 7+ years of experience in software development, including in a Tech Lead or Solution Architect role.
• Experience building and scaling e-commerce or retail platforms (e.g., PrestaShop, Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools).
• Knowledge of PHP and Laravel/Nuxt.js for Checkout or Storefront development.
• Experience designing the architecture of complex, highly available systems and resolving production incidents.
• Strong knowledge of Relational Databases, especially MySQL; experience with PostgreSQL and/or MSSQL is an advantage. Practical experience with Redis and Docker.
• Knowledge of security, Authentication/Authorization, and principles for protecting user and payment data.
• Experience with SOAP/XML and RESTful integrations (ERP systems, payment systems, logistics companies).
• Knowledge of the retail stack is desirable: Django REST Framework, Go, C#, Kotlin, React, TypeScript.
• Ownership and proactivity in identifying risks and opportunities in advance.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills; English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level.
• Ability to make decisions independently and set priorities while balancing architecture and hands-on coding.
